Primer
by @shabola92 · 3 min readleads a mono-blue "affinity" deck: every artifact you control gives him +1/+0, and whenever he attacks, if an artifact entered the battlefield under your control that turn, you draw a card. The plan is to flood the board with cheap artifacts (, , , , ) to make Iron Man huge and reliably trigger his draw, while cost reducers like , , and accelerate the flood.
Card advantage is backed by (draws if you control the artifact with greatest mana value), (draws for each historic spell cast), and , whose first chapter draws cards equal to artifacts controlled. converts artifacts into blue mana and creates a Construct that scales with artifact count; with imprinted can generate explosive mana by untapping all nonland permanents. and recur artifacts from the graveyard.
Main win conditions: repeated attacks from an ever-growing Iron Man with guaranteed card draw; and as hard-to-block evasive threats; as an alternate instant-win plan by copying a cheap artifact eight times.
Weaknesses: the deck is vulnerable to board wipes and artifact hate (ironically including its own against you), has little protection beyond and Padeem, and relies heavily on an early low curve—if Iron Man is removed or artifacts get swept, card advantage collapses quickly.
