1. Origins and Philosophy

This deck was built from the ground up with [[]] as the commander. It wasn't converted from another list like Derevi — instead, it was designed with a clear vision:

Political leverage

Incremental value and soft control

Gradual locking of the board

Smart use of gift and promise mechanics to manipulate the game and earn temporary alliances.

Bumbleflower perfectly embodies a friendly yet subversive presence — slowing aggressive players and subtly taking control of the table.

2. Macro Strategies

A. Tax & Stax

This is the core of the deck. It's not about hard-locking immediately, but creating friction that taxes greedy plays. Tools include:

[[]] effects, tap/skip effects, tax effects, land denial, and ability suppression.

Pieces like [[]], [[]], [[]], and [[]] build a scaling lock — not an all-at-once shutdown.

This is the engine. Creatures that create advantage when they enter the battlefield get looped with:

Blink effects ([[]], [[]], [[Brago, eternal king]] , [[]], [[Emiel the blessed]])

Support from [[]] to double down on triggers. (considering) -

These create card advantage, mana, or utility while maintaining a stable board.

C. Interaction and Protection

The deck runs a compact and efficient interaction suite:

Protection spells like [[Flare of Fortitude]], [[Dawn’s Truce]], [[]], and [[Teferi’s Protection]]

Removal and disruption like [[]], [[]], and [[]].

These keep the lock intact and buy time to scale.

D. Mana & Curve

Though only running 31 lands, the deck is supported by:

Mana dorks like [[ ]]and [[]]

Efficient rocks like [[Chrome Mox]] and [[]]

Low-cost ramp spells like [[Nature’s Lore]] and [[]]

The curve is intentionally low, ensuring the deck operates well with limited untaps or under its own tax effects.

E. Win Conditions

[[]] is the main wincon: subtle and safe.

Brago/ value loops can overwhelm opponents over time.

The deck often wins through resource attrition and inability of others to act effectively.

Final Thoughts

Strengths:

Smooth political play

Subtle but effective board control

Low profile, hard to target early

Resilient and adaptable

Weaknesses:

Can be slow to fully set up

Vulnerable to heavy board wipes if not protected

Doesn’t win explosively — requires patience and board management
